Aptive’s mission is to educate, mentor, and inspire students of all ages to discover the depths of their talents and passions, grow into their best selves, and gain the skills necessary to lead fulfilling lives.
Our Story
Aptive was founded in 2020 by a passionate team of educators and academic mentors with a combined 55 years of experience serving students on their road to success. Collectively, we have helped 1,137 students—from the heart of the United States, to the shores of Asia, and numerous countries in between—gain admission to their dream schools. More importantly, we’ve guided them to lay the foundation of enriched, fulfilled lives as leaders and citizens.
In addition to our breadth and depth of experience as mentors, we’ve walked in your shoes. We, too, traversed the school admissions process, as well as the rigorous work of discovering passions that would enable success and gratification in college and beyond.
We also know that the admissions process and the higher education landscape in general have experienced seismic shifts in recent years. At the same time, technology and globalization demand ongoing changes in how we engage the world. As part of the commitment to our mission and bringing our best to students and families, we diligently stay on top of changing shifts and trends. And as the world evolves, so does our process and technology to remain relevant and capable of yielding the excellent results for which we’ve become known.

At Aptive, our mentorship goes beyond academic coaching and encompasses the character, discipline, and lifelong learning skills that prepare a person to navigate the inevitable ups and downs of school, career, and life. We have seen again and again that our approach not only makes for happier, more confident students today—but it also makes for adults empowered with the resources to pursue and reach personal and professional goals in a dynamic, rapidly evolving world.
